The cars are in nice shape, not perfect, but bad, no broken steps or chipped roof walks. The boxes, especially the diesel box are very nice, please see photos. I am selling this Gilbert HO Set LESS Loco as-is, as-found. So, I purchase brand new, 200# test, shipping cartons and use anti-static, 100% BIODEGRADABLE, environmentally friendly, loose fill packing material MOST OF THE TIME.

The original instruction booklet is also included. The diesel locomotive is missing. What you see is what get. I say most of the time, because will, on some occasions, ship in previously used cartons and may reuse other types packing materials, which best suit item being shipped.

I've been around for a while a LONG while and I have dived into my last dumpster looking shipping cartons.
