Untested, sold as is. The Monon locomotive is great, car carrier flatcar excellent too. Listing should be set to where you can check and choose shipping method, either USPS Ground Advantage or UPS. The caboose is unique, Marx did a great job on much of the early HO efforts.

Everything is very nice, look at pictures. There is a bottom storage area for tracks, set comes with inclines and bridge, all included. Vintage original Marx Monon set, very clean with box. No damage noted on anything.

Neat Sears price tag on end of box, see pic. The inner hard plastic tray is thick for once, in great shape, strong with no cracks etc. Didn't come with transformer originally, nowhere for it in box.
