The train engine measures 10.5 long if that helps anybody. Age is unknown but I'm guessing 1950s era or maybe older. I've never setup a train set before so I'm not sure how to test but it looks be all there. I was just looking on google for a year and see that Marx also made the same set as well in 1950's.
