As you can see from the pictures both of the side rails are present, and the drive arms are present, the head light bezel is missing on this locomotive. Finally these units are some of the nicest steam power that Marx produced. The normal scuffs and scarps are present on these units.

Here are a great set of Marx 494 canadian pacific locomotive. The head light is functioning on the unit. Okay here is the important details. Both things are present, I do not run these on a layout to see how many cars they can pull, with any locomotive of this age I strongly recommend that you clean oil and service the motor prior to running the locomotive for any time, the 4 drive wheels are in great shape with no pieces missing, the gears are metal with no missing teeth in them, the motor is free and turns with no binding.

This unit has been tested for operation, this is bench testing, I check for the motor to energize and have movement.
