This guard does a wonderful job of keeping whatever from breaking off the fragile signal signs your remote or manual fastrack o-gauge switches. After breaking a switch signal off of my fastrack manual I decided to stop it by making guard protect them. Note: the guard base raises switch finger about 1mm off of floor due to its slip-over design see picture. The guard allows access to switch handle and protects fragile signal sign from derailments other hazards like young kids these guards are particularly useful on temporary layouts where a track may be set up living room floor there will some foot traffic.

Hello folks. These guards are made from tough 3d printed abs plastic and held in place with four stainless steel screws than gently sandwich the guard over switch signal finger see pictures. There is no modification needed to install the guards, just slide guard over switch signal finger and tighten screws slightly hold in place.

Note: raw FD printed parts have a rough finish due to the manufacturing process. Please look carefully at the pictures I have included in this offer before buying. This is not a problem for most layouts but it worth mentioning.
