We utilize RCA condition standards as follows c 10 mint brand new all original, unused and unblemished. C 9 factory new brand new all original, unused, may evidence factory rubs and the slightest evidence of handling, shipping and having been test run at the factory.
The motors work fine but. Item Lionel accessory item number scale o gauge condition excellent condition but non operational.
Features operating elector magnet assembled magnet raises and lowers not working boom lifts up and down mechanical screw handle crane cab spins not working photos these are the photos of the actual item. Heavily scratched, major rust and missing parts. C 2 restoration required.
May have minor parts replaced. I've tried to show the condition as best I could in the photographs, however the photos can't cover every square inch in magnified detail. Parts value only.
This item is sold as is. Evidence of heavy use.
The grease in the gears has turned to hardened jelly and the elastic drive belts have stretched I think. C 7 excellent all original minute scratches and paint nicks, no rust and no missing parts. C 5 good signs of play wear with scratches and minor paint loss.
Lionel triple action magnet crane. This crane uses two small can motors that turn a wheel through an elastic band and that wheel then drives the action through gearboxes. C 4 fair scratched, moderate paint loss, dented, missing parts, surface rust.
Please examine the photographs carefully. This crane cab does not rotate and the hook does not go up and down.
Evidence of heavy use. With instruction booklet. This crane is in excellent condition. Box condition original box.
C 3 poor requires major body repair.
The elector magnet does work. They go to offer.
C 8 like new complete all original, no rust, no missing parts, may show effects of being on display and or age, may have been run. I have opened up the mechanism part way. Restoration candidate.
C 6 very good minor scratches and paint nicks, minor spots of surface rust, free of dents.
I have no idea if those drive belts are still available. Small dents, minor surface rust. No distortion of component parts.
The cab is supposed to rotate and the hook magnet should go up and down.
Does not work properly.
