And then one day I literally fell over an idea as was helping my brother install some custom cabinets on a commercial job site. I then tried the 'steel wool vinegar rust' process.

I tried flushing with water, but this washed the finer particles away, and still was not sure that rusting process had been stopped. Today, you can buy various weathering powders note: some are just ground artists chalk and or tempera finger paint, there folks offering stuff used to tint wet concrete yes, really.

I even tried sealing the finish with a dull coat too labor intensive. And for the record, these are very same weathering stains solutions that Richard has used to construct finish fine Scale miniatures FMs, master creations, sequoia model's, downtown decor, Thomas Yorkie, structures ltd, evergreen hill designs, model masterpieces south river works, many other kits over years have been recognized as award winning, museum quality model's.

This I really liked, but the thought of rusting processing continuing even after application scared me. This product has built in adhesive polymers that enable it to stick any surface. More Doctor ben Bens Scale Consortium products are developed directly from the creations of NRA national award winning dioramas by Richard e. Don't get me wrong, I owe a great deal of what learned about building model's from early Thomas.

Several even posed as 'friends' to get the formulas. In my quest for the ultimate weathering process I remember that found a four-step, four bottle product back 1980stated it came from guys driveway and tried this while. Get too much on and want to remove it. Not a problem, read about all the great uses in.

The long story short is that although my formula has changed over years, and, a lot of folks have tried real hard to copy Doctor Bens products, but they still haven't come close. But nobody nope has a weathering solution or an industrial pigment that will perform anything like the Doctor Bens products do.
