Details:
Caboose frame with end railings only is a little warped manufactured sold as condition: the die-casting solid and without any broken off pieces, crazing, or repairs, but there slight length wise twist from war page some light filing on side edges this more so one in area of edge. The paint is probably not original, and there are a couple of runs few droplet's varnish. Or other liquid atop frame top only painted at platform ends. Estimated shipping weight is 1 to 2 pounds.
When placed on a flat surface three of the steps are in contact with surface, but bottom one step has space about 1 32 an inch above and corner area opposite same side is slightly drooped downward. Except for one place of attachment, all four u-shaped railings appear to be soldered, which I am not sure is correct, at the tops where they attach frame. Every attempt has been made to describe and picture the item accurately.
The measurements of frame are no more than inches at any place across width and in length along where body fits over sides edges.
Bright white, dark areas, or differences in the same color from one picture to next are due reflected light, a lack of angle was taken at. All the machine screw threads are good. Note: unfortunately, I do have a scale or semi-scale caboose that can use to check the fit of frame, but sometime after mid last year when listed and sold body found this frame.
So, it is possible the frame from that body, but I cannot say for sure and guarantee will fit in another body. All the pieces for end railings are present, but one of brake wheels has a small portion its rim broken off, and there is difference about 1 16 inch in height .
