Includes powered a and dummy b Santa Fe 1095 diesel loco units, beautiful up challenger box car, Erie gondola, lav hopper, unusual gray 284 tank car, and 4427 Ats caboose. The components of this set are all original. Springs co which is marked as shipped on may 23, all the cars have stamped metal type trucks and plastic fork couplets.

Therefore the set is sold as is. Power unit has cardboard top insert and insert that fits over the power truck there are 2 shipping labels affixed to the outside of the set box. This set is about as perfect condition as you can find in the marx world. Includes original marx o72 straight and curved track in Ln condition, instruction sheet, packing slip, uncouple here sign, track contact with original wires,and transformer.

The second is from the ward's to the final customer in col. I am sorry for this. The set number and related printing are stamped in black ink on one end of the box which is not shown in the photos.

Set was opened from the bottom of the box. It's like the day it left the factory.

The cord of the transformer and the wires around the track contact have never been un wound or used, I bought this many years ago as part of a large estate find in pa that was full of truly mint and Ln trains and toys, including mint marx train sets both boxed and unboxed. All original inserts are present and in beautiful shape.

I have no way to test the power unit, and would not do so if I could given the condition of the loco and the set. All of the pieces are sparkling with no breaks or defects. It was rare to find mint marx trains back then, and its even tougher today. Nothing is broken, and everything is original and complete.

Unfortunately, the cost is substantial. Fabulous boxed marx o gauge electric train set sold through Montgomery ward.
