Details:

The box is decent, but the lid does have split corners. All of the pieces are very clean, rust free, great shape. There is a black die cast #999 steam engine with 2-4-2 wheel arrangement. Here is a Marx Toys O gauge train set in its original box.

Engine runs, reverses, and the headlight works, as you can see in short test video, but it could do with a good lube cleaning to make run better sometimes reverse unit sticks. The other track and the transformer are NOT present. It is set number 25234. There is also an uncoupling device and there are 4 straight track sections in the box.

The cars are all 3/16ths scale tin lithographed cars, 8 stamped metal wheels on axles and the tilt couplets in normal side frames with chromed overlays them.
