Box: Has insert. Box: Both couplet flaps are detached. They are part of the. 6654W: Excellent condition, whistles.

The label was put on in the opposite direction of manufacturer stamp. Box: Scarce Art Deco version of this box. There are some minor blemishes, and one set of the numbers has a rub. One of the end flap tuck tabs is in rough condition.

1655 Steam Loco: Runs and has working headlight. It includes the set box, 1655 Locomotive, 6654W Whistle Tender, 6452 Gondola, 6465 Sync tank car, 6257 Caboose, and individual component boxes for each train. This is a Lionel 1423W set originally produced in 1948. One end flap is missing the tuck tab.

One side of the box has a number written in pencil. When orientated with the opened end of box as top, label is right side up, and stamp upside down. It has a small tear on one end flap.
