I ve packaged these very carefully, all four of the boxes are plastic wrapped together, then taped over wrap ,then into shipping box with foam. This engine and cars were part of a ready to run set. As you can see there is very low run time on this set. You are buying only the locomotive, tender and two blue comet cars.
Each piece is in its original foam container, there were never any separate boxes, only the big box holding complete set. Main box is long gone.
